“Out of Silence” is an autobiographical story about a young man who suffers night blindness and his family -father being deaf- immigrating from a mountain village near Sparta to Chicago in 1969. It’s a story about the struggle of adjusting to a new life full of challenges and the constant pain of nostalgia for the lost paradise of rural life.
